My experience here has been great and fabulous so far. I came here to finish my High school education, and right now I am pursuing a degree in Engineering at University of Virginia, the 2nd public school in the nation. The education I have been receiving is absolutely different. I like the style of learning here, and I like to learn from more hands-on projects than just memorizing the theory. There are plenty of resources here to pursue whatever you want to do. I participated in a Robotics Competition held by NASA twice and we learnt a lot from it. Sure the cost of attendance can be an issue. But there always is Financial aid available and scholarships for anyone who tries hard. The most important thing is many of them are based on Merit. So students who cannot afford education but are brilliant do not have to worry. Plus there are always student loans that help a lot. So money is not a problem. It can be managed easily. The university arranges for almost everything from campus accommodations to food arrangements everyday. So other than the costs of tuition, you wont really require a lot of other costs. The education system here is very flexible. I have so many options here as career, and none of those depend on how much money you have, only on what you like to be. You could be an Engineer as well as a doctor in the same amount of time and money. So the education system is pretty strong too.
