The University of Oklahoma is one of the major public universities in the United States. I was interested in pursuing my Masters here bcoz I'd heard about the outstanding programs offered. I specialized in Artificial intelligence in UG during my final semester. When I found that we could specialise in AI in our Masters, I immediately opted for it. It's a good university if you are interested in research and quality education.
I did give in my GRE and TOEFL. I had also worked in CADDsoft technologies after completing my UG. I think the fact that I had some work experience helped me get the visa quite easily. I'll advise students who are applying for the visa to please be careful to whatever u have written on the DS forms cos the VOs definitely cross check it. Be consistent in your replies and above all be calm and cool.
My parents funded my entire education.
The program was chalked out well. Best thing was we had outstanding faculty...they were interested in bringing out the best in us.
Apart from the acads we have music, drama, dance and the visual arts which are readily available. It makes life at OU really enjoyable.
