I applied to UMKC because it engaged in research similar to my background. It is very reputed for Networking and best suited my profile, out of all the Univs I'd applied to. Though such programs are also available in India the competition is very high and only reputed univ's like the IITs offer quality Netwoking Course ...which are very diff to get into. The Networking program at UMKC was a pretty good one.
Not too difficult. I did have a backlog in my UG but as I cleared it later and scored a distinction too, it didn't create any problems. My acads at the time of applying was 70%.
Family funded my entire education. Apart from that I'd a CNR, Tution Wavier of 50% worth 7250 $ from the Univ..
The university offered rich resources and facilities. The learning environment was great.
The placement cell in the university conducts career fairs to assist students in gettin placed.
