The Air Force Institute of Technology was founded in 1919. The Institute is the Air Force's graduate school of engineering and management as well as its institution for technical professional continuing education. The Institute has three resident schools: the Graduate School of Engineering and Management, the School of Systems and Logistics, and the Civil Engineer and Services School. Graduate and doctoral level programs are offered in aeronautics & astronautics, electrical & computer engineering, engineering physics, mathematics & statistics, operational sciences, systems & engineering management. The Institute is located at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.
