Founded in 1764, the Brown University was originally started as the College of Rhode Island. It is a private university located in Providence, Rhode Island with a total enrollment of over 8,000 students. The university offers the bachelors degree, masters degree, doctors degree and first-professional degree programs in over 120 concentrations like Social Science, Architecture, Public Health, Business & Managerial Economics, Chemistry and Geology, etc. The university operates via the Brown Medical School, Brown Graduate School and the School of Liberal Art & Science.
