Eastern Michigan University is a public university and was founded in 1849; it is based in Ypsilanti, Michigan. There are more than 23,000 students from all over the world currently enrolled at the university. A range of undergraduate and graduate programs are offered through its five Colleges: College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business, College of Education, College of Health and Human Services and College of Technology. In addition, the Honors College and the Graduate School also offer programs for gifted undergraduates and graduate students, respectively.
