North Western Health Sciences University, a private institution, was established in 1941 as the North-western College of Chiropractic. The college enrols around 1,000 students and offer programs in the three colleges viz. North-western College of Chiropractic, Minnesota College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and School of Massage Therapy. All the 3 colleges are situated in Bloomington, Minnesota. These colleges offer undergraduate pre-professional courses, bachelor programs and certificate programs in areas such as Chiropractic, Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Herbal Medicine and Human Biology.
