Founded in 1947, the University of Maryland University College is one of 11 accredited, degree-granting institutions in the University System of Maryland. Headquartered in Adelphi, Maryland, the university has locations in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area, Europe, and Asia, and provides online classes to students worldwide.
